SSP Wallet Leads the Way With Schnorr Multisignature Accounts on Ethereum

July 31, 2024 – Cambridge, England

InFlux a leading global decentralized technology company specializing in cloud infrastructure, AI (artificial intelligence) and decentralized cloud computing services has announced the launch of true multisig Ethereum accounts on its Web 3.0 wallet platform, SSP.

This cutting-edge innovation, the first of its kind, unveils an advanced level of digital asset security and marks a breakthrough moment for wallet technology and the EVM ecosystem.

SSP stands for ‘secure, simple and powerful’ a multisignature wallet that utilizes industry-grade encryption. It provides users with seamless control over their digital assets via an easy-to-navigate interface.

SSP also runs on an open-source code base that allows interested developers worldwide to contribute to building and expanding its capabilities.

The latest version of SSP now features state-of-the-art Schnorr multisignature account abstraction built on ERC-4337, which allows for creating true multisignature addresses on the Ethereum chain.

Unlike other wallets, this approach on SSP neither requires a standard externally owned account nor retains the on-chain state of the signing process.

As such, SSP offers a superior security experience, eliminating many of the challenges of the conventional use of externally owned accounts while promoting user experience and decentralization.

Tadeas Kmenta, co-founder of InFlux and lead developer of SSP Wallet, said,

“The implementation of Ethereum Schnorr multisignature accounts into SSP Wallet is undoubtedly a huge deal not just for SSP but for the entire Ethereum community.

“SSP’s fully open-sourced approach pioneers the way for account abstraction, welcoming developers to freely use its libraries and contracts.

“By integrating Schnorr multisig accounts into the SSP, we are offering state-of-the-art security of Ethereum accounts and transactions privacy.

“SSP paves the way for an enterprise-grade level of self-custody to the general public, making the complexity of multisig security easily available to all.”

Staying true to its open-source policy, SSP has also developed a Schnorr multisignature account abstraction typescript library to enable developers and other interested contributors globally to explore native multisig Ethereum addresses on SSP and review, improve and contribute to the codebase.

This library is available on GitHub and NPM, while SSP is available for download on its official
